ASIS Law Enforcement Appreciation Day (LEAD) 2012
It is with honor and gratitude that I have once again accepted the responsibility of chairing
the ASIS Atlanta Chapter’s annual Law Enforcement Appreciation Day (LEAD) luncheon. As you know,
LEAD is an annual event hosted by the Greater Atlanta Chapter which provides a unique opportunity for the private security
industry to show its support and appreciation to area law enforcement officers who put their lives on the line every day in
supporting our communities, our businesses and the security agencies that protect them. The luncheon serves
to acknowledge the importance of the close and mutually beneficial partnership between private security and public safety
professionals and to salute the selfless acts of area officers. Last year, over 400 law enforcement officers
at all levels and across a variety of local, state and federal agencies attended this capstone event. The event is free for
all sworn public safety officers so, each year, ASIS enlists the aid of businesses and organizations, like yours, to support
this very special event by donating gifts and/or door prizes for police
officers and by sponsoring one or more tables for the event. We do all of this to
recognize law enforcement officers who perform their duties with pride, yet, most of the time go unrecognized or are under
appreciated. As a former law enforcement officer, I know the incredibly moving and positive impact this
event has on a police officer. The
Greater Atlanta Chapter of ASIS International is known nationally for hosting one of the most successful Law Enforcement Appreciation
Days in America. We ask that you please consider continuing your past financial support. Our
2012 sponsorship options offer something affordable for every level sponsor, and we certainly hope that you will continue
to champion the tradition of supporting those who support you.
